Some 30 years ago Christy began her career of creativity and glamour. It has been an amazing journey! Continuing her education through various training forums keeps her motivated and challenged by this ever changing industry. She particularly favors razor cutting, dimensional color and styling.

Madison
Madison, a Columbia local, has been a stylist for more than eight years. She is constantly learning about the new techniques and trends in the hair industry, so she can give her clients exactly what they envision.
Kim
Kimberley has been with The Strand Salon since it opened and has over 30 years of experience. She continues advanced training in coloring and cutting sponsored by a diverse collection of product lines. The longevity and loyalty of her clientele is a symbol of her success.
Laura
Laura has been a licensed cosmetologist & esthetician for over 20 years. She received her training at Cosmetology Concepts Institute. She specialized in advanced peels and customized skin care treatments such as facials, lamprobe, and body waxing. Laura strives everyday to achieve her clients' goals as well as provide a relaxing and comfortable environment.
Emily
Emily graduated from Sam Browns Institute of Cosmetology in 2014. Emily loves continuing her education by attending various cutting and color classes. She specializes in designer color, women's cuts and men's clipper cuts. Book your appointment today!

With over ten years in the salon industry, Catie has an abundance of experience and talent to offer her clientele. She always listens attentively to her client’s wants and needs to guarantee they leave her chair loving their look. She specializes in designer color and precision hair cutting. Catie has a passion for keeping up with the latest techniques, trending hair styles, and always up for a challenge.
Judy
Judy, a former Master Matrix educator and salon owner, has had extensive training and platform experience. She is passionate about coloring, cutting and bringing out your inner beauty.
Crystal
Crystal is a 2004 graduate of the Massage Therapy Institute of Missouri. In 2011 she attended the Skin Institute in St. Louis. Her dual license is very unique as she is able to provide both esthetic and massage services into one treatment. Through compassionate and careful listening, Crystal will utilize her knowledge and techniques to help achieve your goals. Customizing treatments based on your needs is her specialty. She is also known for her firm yet gentle touch that is both therapeutic and relaxing.
Ashlyn
Ashlyn is a licensed esthetician having graduated from Paul Mitchell The School in Columbia, MO. She is trained in facials, dermaplaning, lash lifts, brow & lash tints, chemical peels and body waxing. Her goal is to help her clients achieve heathier, rejuvenated and better looking skin!
Shannon
Shannon has nearly two decades of experience as a hair stylist, and she specializes in traditional cuts and colors. She loves being a hair stylist, and loves the creative and social aspects of the job.
